Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of the Office of Behavioral Supports and Interventions, including, but not limited to, supporting the implementation of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) Framework, serving and supporting all in order to keep the focus on teaching and learning,.
1.
Perform general administrative office professional duties in support of the department of Behavior Support Interventions.
a.
Take and transcribe dictation of various types including, but not limited to, letters, memos, reports, and minutes of meetings.
b.
Maintain an accurate schedule of activities for the Director of Behavior Support and Interventions.
c.
Arrange, coordinate, and schedule time and details for travel, conferences, and other departmental events.
d.
Prepare various minutes, reports, work orders, memoranda, and purchase orders as needed to maintain the efficient and effective operation of the office to which assigned.
e.
Maintain and process purchase card transactions and travel card transactions monthly, reconcile and print monthly reports.
f.
Provide management of the departmental budget and maintain files for expenditure reports.
g.
Provides support and guidance for the district enrollment and admissions process.
2.
Perform general clerical duties.
a.
Organize and maintain files and records of the assigned office.
b.
Operate various office machines including, but not limited to, computers, copiers, fax machines, and calculators as needed to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the office to which assigned.
c.
Organize and maintain division office software and reference materials efficiently.
3.
Assist with the coordination of projects for the department.
a.
Assist with the organization and coordination of projects for behavior support and interventions programs.
4.
Communicate with other people in a businesslike, courteous, and efficient manner.
a.
Act as the department representative both in person and over telephone.
b.
Ensure that correspondence and other documentation sent from the office conforms to standard English usage.
c.
Utilize telecommunication equipment courteously in the efficient operation of the office to which assigned.
d.
Route incoming and outgoing correspondence accurately.

Perform other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time.
