This Ground Maintenance Associate position is responsible for performing routine maintenance of grounds such as mowing grass, picking up trash, and basic equipment maintenance.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
The work schedule is Mon-Fri from 7:
00am to 3:
30pm.
Occasionally throughout the year, there are weekend work and after-hours schedule changes.
This position requires the incumbent to spend a majority of the workday outside in all elements.
Essential DutiesMowing grass, pulling weeds, and assists in trimming trees and shrubsPicking up trash, recyclables, and other debris from groundsOperating lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other equipmentPerforming basic maintenanceMaintaining recreational fields by dragging, aerating, and lining fieldsCleaning, moping, and maintaining suppliesAssisting with special projects such as setting up and taking down for events, performing equipment maintenance, and other activities as needed.
GradeThe grade for this position is A12(2).
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma, or G.
E.
D.
Valid driver's licenseAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job will also be considered.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
